Eastern Fish Co. began in 1974, primarily as a fish and crab trading company, sourcing products from Alaska and Canada. By 1982, we redirected our focus to the burgeoning farm-raised shrimp industry and began supplying fresh, consistent, premium quality shrimp. Today, we are one of the world’s largest importers and marketers of shrimp.

In April 2014, Eastern Fish partnered with Marubeni Corporation, strengthening our global programs and expanding our network across Japan, Europe, and the U.S. We maintain strong relationships with producers in Alaska, Asia, and South America, covering the entire seafood supply chain from production to sales.

To best serve our customers, we have quality control offices in Thailand, Ecuador, China, and Mexico, along with sales offices in California, Florida, and Massachusetts. Our headquarters is in New Jersey, while our international sales representative is based in Belgium. We have enduring partnerships with production, processing, and packing facilities across Honduras, Thailand, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and Indonesia, ensuring seamless global distribution.

Freshwater Fish Scales

For our fish-based ingredients, we use only freshwater fish scales from Rohu, Catla, and Tilapia, ensuring batch consistency, purity, and safety.

Crab By-products

We responsibly procure crab shells and residual parts from dedicated suppliers, recovering essential biopolymers like Chitin and Chitosan for diverse industrial applications.
